Visit one of the largest garden centres in the North West before heading to one of Yorkshire’s most charming market towns.
Our day begins in Todmorden, a small town nestled in the Upper Calder Valley on the old Lancashire–Yorkshire border. Here we’ll visit the renowned Gordon Rigg Garden, Home & Leisure Centre, inspiring gardeners since 1945. This 5-acre centre with over 60,000 sq ft of undercover shopping offers everything from plants and garden tools to homeware and gifts – all at great prices. Surrounded by scenic countryside, it’s a lovely spot to browse, relax and enjoy.
In the afternoon, we travel on to Skipton – the gateway to the Yorkshire Dales. Known for its bustling market, 900-year-old castle, historic cobbled High Street and charming independent shops, Skipton is rich in history, character and natural beauty. With market day in full swing, it’s the perfect place to explore, shop and soak up the atmosphere.
